Puppet Theatre is back by popular demand! 32 years strong, this is Campbell River's longest running puppet theatre program! Admission remains at 1995 pricing, at $2 per person, and each play is followed by a fun craft. Make sure to get a stamp in your "Puppet Passport"! Museum staff will be your guides into the magical world of puppetry as they tell you about Campbell River's past in a format that has been entertaining children for over three decades.

EVENT INFORMATION On August 26, 27, 28 and 29, Nootka Marine Adventures will be holding its 3rd annual Tuna/Coho Derby in the waters off Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet. The Pier Street Farmers Market is a seasonal institution in Campbell River, drawing patrons and vendors from around the Island every Sunday from May to September. It is a must see for both locals and visitors! The market hosts more than 50 vendors weekly with a variety of homemade wares, arts and crafts, and fresh produce. The relaxed and friendly market vibe is complemented by live music, food and a vibrant atmosphere. Visitors are encouraged to walk or bike down.

An introduction to collograph using cardboard, glue and various found materials to create a collograph plate. In complement to the themes of our current exhibition, Horizon Felt, this workshop will emphasize landscape. Line, tone and texture are all achieved through the layering of materials on the matrix.
