A tasty plate of calamari
When you visit Acropolis Kuizina, you can expect nothing but the best. There is a lot to like here from the moment you walk in the door. The small, but tastefully decorated space has an overall welcoming feel to it. You’re greeted with a warm hello, which is followed by friendly, top-notch service. You can rest assured your water glass will never be empty. Serving everything from classic Greek dishes to mouth-watering steaks, there is surely something for every member of the family. I say that especially because they even offer a tasty kid’s menu so you can bring the little ones. That said, the restaurant is also ideal for a well-deserved date night, so feel free to leave the kids at home.
The absolutely phenomenal crab cakes
Acropolis first burst onto the Campbell River dining scene in 2011 and have been making a name for themselves ever since. Last Thursday night, the Visitor Centre staff, Kim, Emily, Mandy, and Marley were treated to an incredible feast to try out their delicious new seafood options. We started off with focaccia bread and mussels, which were followed up by deep fried oysters, crab cakes, calamari, and finally, a plate of delicious fillet and rib eye steak.
Plate of juicy rib eye and fillet steak — it was so good we dug in before a picture could be taken!
Although the restaurant will be closed from May 29th until June 16th, it will reopen Father’s Day weekend — starting June 17th — and be back in full swing. Starting then, you can call 250-914-0909 to make your reservation.
